As far as aspirational record collections go, Balearic legend José Padilla is somewhere at the top of the list. Over the years, the DJ has accumulated enough vinyl to open a store, and then some. Vinyl Factory took a tour of his treasure trove and got Padilla to share some of the stories behind it—like when Indonesian authorities slapped him with a $1 fine per record that he was traveling with—as well as his go-to records, such as Marvin Gaye's I Want You.
