UK producer TRC—who hails from the Midlands, big up the Midlands!—has produced for grime royalty Trim and P Money in the past, but he's also got a soft spot for grime's predecessor: UK garage. On his new single, "Butterflies," he links with London singer Princess Nyah, who sets the tone with her no-nonsense intro: See I'm feeling you/ Feeling your mind/ I've met my match/ And you're one of a kind.

"I’ve been working closely with Princess Nyah for nearly a year now, and we’ve got really good chemistry in the studio together," TRC told The FADER. "'Butterflies' is actually one of her existing vocals that we reworked, but it’s got great energy and it showcases us both well. It’s a really strong vocal from her, and I feel like the beat represents where my head’s at right now too." Bristol label Crazylegs will release "Butterflies" on May 25th. Preorder it here.
