Watch Jamie Foxx Do Hilarious Impressions Of John Legend, Doc Rivers, And Jennifer Hudson

The singer showed his range on ‘The Tonight Show.’

Jamie Foxx released Hollywood: A Story Of A Dozen Roses this week, his first album in 5 years. Promoting his latest full-length brought him to The Tonight Show yesterday, where Jimmy Fallon set up a musical impressions game. Foxx and Fallon each took turns singing an assigned tune in the mode of a random artist—“Hakuna Matata” as sung by Mick Jagger, for example.

Fallon did the Bee Gees’ Barry Gibb, which was kind of cheating, since he had a famous Gibb-themed sketch with Justin Timberlake on Saturday Night Live. He also brought back his Bruce Springsteen voice. Foxx blew his host away: his John Legend impression leans towards Luther Vandross, but that’s not a bad thing, and he also offered a great impersonation of Clippers’ coach Doc Rivers. Wait around until the end when Foxx delivers a falsetto-heavy “On Top Of Spaghetti.”
