On Thursday, Complex reported the album had been given a June 17 release date. That report cited no source, but it “looks true,” a rep for Def Jam told The FADER on Friday. Previously, the label confirmed that Jeremih's single "Tonight Belongs To U!" would be included on Late Nights.

Jeremih announced Late Nights during a round of press last summer, and said he’d release it in September 2014. Jeremih's been talking about this album since early 2013, when it still had the working title Thumpy Johnson. Last August, he released a tape of tracks cut from the album project, called N.O.M.A, or Not On My Album.
