Athletixx Collective affiliated producer Falcons has officially joined the Fools Gold stable, and he will release his first project with the Brooklyn label, an EP titled Terra, on July 17. The 4-track project will highlight his return to "sound palettes from the natural wold, woven into electronic hip-hop music" and be "something more of an experience."

"As much as my drums and synths are digital, I’m pitching bird sounds into melodies to take you back to somewhere a little more organic," wrote Falcons (whose real name is Graham), describing the project in an email to The FADER. "I want to blur the lines musically the way that digital and IRL experiences are being blurred in society." He also added: "The symbol on the cover, though it looks like a basketball, is actually an ancient symbol for Terra."

To kick off the project, he's shared an undulating, elemental collaboration he worked on with Goldlink and Chaz French, who he says are "two amazing guys who also play with this musical crossover between pop sensibility and being avant-garde." It's called "Aquafina" (like the bottled water company) and you can hear it below.
