Hear Awful Records’ Abra Channel ‘80s Funk On Rose

Abra dropped a new project this week titled Rose, and its lead single might be the most radio-friendly thing Awful Records has ever released, full of pretty, melismatic vocals and an easy bass groove. Several of the songs here sound like they could be mid-80s Janet Jackson demos, and that's a good thing. Abra produced Rose; Awful's Archibald Slim and Stalin Majesty both make guest appearances.
