Iceberg Names Arthur Arbesser As New Creative Director

The iconic 80s brand teams up with a buzzy arbiter of androgyny.

June 19, 2015

New school meets old school with the announcement of Iceberg's appointment of Italian-based rising star and LVMH nominee Arthur Arbesser. Style.com reports that Arbesser's first full runway collection for Iceberg will debut at the Spring '16 presentations in Milan, the Austrian-born Arbesser's adopted home. While for a pop art-reliant '80s brand that has consistently inspired the likes of Jeremy Scott the slick androgyny of Arbesser may not seem like the most obvious choice, Arbesser says, “Iceberg stands for color, graphics, quality, and irony, which are all characteristics I share as well. I’m honored to continue the beautiful 40-year-long story of this iconic Italian brand.” Some throwback Iceberg images, mixed in with a bit of modern Arbesser, below.
