On the red carpet for the premiere of Fresh Dressed—Sacha Jenkins' documentary about hip-hop's influence on fashion—Nas took a moment to talk about the recent murders in Charleston, SC. “Mental illness is something I wish that we could detect at birth… detect that and vaccinate it at birth," he said. "Racism is rotting America," he added. "It’s been rotting America since America’s inception. So this is a very serious time that we’re moving into in 2015." Watch the brief interview below.
