Watch Drake’s Obey Your Thirst Documentary Trailer

Once upon a time, Toronto was known more for hockey than hip-hop. But that didn't stop Drake. Instead of traveling to a larger hub to get hot, he planted his feet and dedicated himself to putting his city on the map. Years later, having achieved that goal, he's helped rewrite the rulebook of rap success.

"Do it the way I did it. Do it from where you’re at. If you have the music, that’s all it takes,” Drake says in the above trailer for his Obey Your Thirst documentary, which will be released in full on Wednesday, June 24. The doc will be the first in a series of four from Sprite and The FADER, telling the stories of Drake, Nas, Vince Staples, and Isaiah Rashad.
