Fay-Ann Lyons Debuts Raze, A New EP And Video

The Soca star tries her hand at pop and EDM with grace and ease.

June 22, 2015

For Trinidad & Tobago native Fay-Ann Lyons, Soca can probably feel a little stale: the daughter of well-revered Soca star Super Blue is a six-time Road March and Soca Monarch winner herself. So it follows that on Lyon's latest EP Raze, her first official offering since signing to VP Records, she captures a restless desire to push the sonic limits of traditional Soca, dabbling in pop-leaning EDM to a winning and catchy effect. Stream the four-song EP below, and check out the premiere of the video for her 2015 Carnival banger, "Raze."
