Sam Gellaitry’s Remix Of Kwabs Is A Must-Hear

The young Soulection producer flips the singer’s upbeat new single into something moodier and richer.

London soul singer Kwabs once prayed for love, but his ecstatic new single demands you fight for it. The track is one of his most upbeat ever: in the hands of Soulection's up-and-comer Sam Gellaitry, though, the production takes a moodier turn, replacing piano stabs with wriggling synth lines and a propulsive 80s pop rhythm with a simple, low-slung beat. Basically, Sam G's dense, plush production sound couldn't make a better match for Kwabs' velvet vocal, and you'd be doing yourself a favor if you listen to it in the player below. You can also pre-order Kwabs' debut album Love + War, out September 11th via Atlantic, here.
