London’s Wireless Festival offered a couple of big grime moments over the weekend. The first was during Drake’s set on Friday, when the rapper brought out Skepta for a short, high-energy medley. The second took place yesterday during Stormzy’s set. After the grime MC played his single “Know Me From,” he told the crowd, “I think we’ve gotta do that one more fucking time… I think there’s a way I can make this song even madder. Can I test it out on you guys?” The audience gave him permission to continue, so he launched into “Know Me From” again. But on the fourth line of the song—I was on the roads when Dizzee made ‘I Luv U’—Stormzy changed course, and grime veteran Dizzee Rascal sauntered on stage to perform, inciting a melee.
