Elderbrook’s Bubbling Love Song “Be There Soon” Is Perfect For That Long Journey

Listen ahead of the British singer-songwriter’s second EP for Black Butter.

July 15, 2015

London singer-songwriter Elderbrook makes lilting pop songs that are rich in percussion and vocal texture, somewhere between Jamie Woon and Jai Paul. "Be There Soon," the bubbling single taken from his second EP Travel Slow, sees the 21-year-old—real name Alex Kotz—cast his eye out over the horizon for a surf-ready, sunlit journey. “'Be There Soon' is a song that, in many ways, is about gaining perspective," the 21-year-old artist told The FADER over email. "This idea is relayed through the story of a traveller's slow journey to the coast in search of a past love." Get carried away below.
