In a recent interview with Mishka, Atlanta rapper MADEINTYO explains his name: he spent six years in Japanese capital of Tokyo, from 8th to 12th grade and year after high school. It's a wonder, then, that tracks like his latest "Bool'n" depict so well the ground-level Atlanta rap fans stalk from miles away: sky-bright beats, bleeding edge slang, and a shade of absurdism that winks through the ignorance. He's gained comparisons to influences like Rae Sremmurd, Key! and Shy Glizzy, but the young blood seems to be carving out a fun-filled space of his own.
