Jimmy Fallon brought out Tom Cruise last night for the latest Lip Sync Battle on The Tonight Show. The famous actor’s initial song choice showed that he’s been keeping his ear to the ground—or at least turning on pop radio every now and then. “My first song has been at the top of the charts all summer,” Cruise noted. “It’s by the enormously talented the Weeknd.” Then he launched into a rendition of “Can’t Feel My Face,” hunching over the microphone and staring into the camera with his trademark intensity.
The Weeknd was thrilled to see Cruise honoring his song on national television. “Can’t believe @TomCruise is singing my song,” he wrote on Twitter. “That shit got me hype.” You can see the rest of his enthusiastic tweets below.
