Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late is officially the first album released in 2015 to sell a million copies in the U.S. Billboard reports that, according to Nielsen Music, the surprise mixtape sold another 8,000 copies last week, nudging its cumulative total to 1.007 million. The mixtape was released out of the blue in February and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Drake joins Taylor Swift as the only artist to achieve platinum status in 2015. Swift's album, however, was released in 2014, putting Drizzy in a lane entirely on his own. As per usual, the 6 God himself took to Instagram to celebrate. Check out Drake's post below, and read why everything is a meme to Drake.
