Last night, Good Room—a Greenpoint bar sitting on an unassuming stretch of Meserole—played host to a broadcast of a Jamie xx Boiler Room set. As the English DJ meandered through In Colour, the album that has come to soundtrack this summer, the vibe oscillated from reverential to meditative, excitable and anxious.
