A O S O O N are south London-based duo Marisa Hylton and Manny Folorunso, who together write acoustic pop songs with floaty melodies and weighty messages. For their latest single "Under"—with its insistent chorus of when we go under, we don't stay down—director Felix Brady has recruited two tracksuit-wearing dancers to bring the song's pretty-yet-heavy energy to life, via a totally transfixing routine played out in the streets, canal paths, and parks of London. "To us, 'Under' is about not being defined by your struggle," A O S O O N told The FADER over email, adding: "the dancers represent the ever-changing dynamics of life." The duo's Alot of Something Out of Nothing EP is out on October 30; pre-order it here.
