We first caught wind of Monica Kim Garza's work when her artful sketches of some naked, beautiful women appeared in a calendar for the brand Kara. Garza's style is born of her global background, mashing up elements that are references to her dad's Mexican and Native American heritage, her mom's Korean background, and her own time spent living in Asia, Africa, and South America.
