GEN F alum Michael Christmas dropped the much-fun Is This Art! last year, a riot of sunrise beats and raps about searching for late night tacos and getting screamed on by your parents just for waking up. Today, the Boston jokester announces What A Weird Day, his debut album dropping October 23rd featuring homies like Mac Miller, Logic, D.R.A.M and more.
"What A Weird Day is about the epic and drastic change in my life since Is This Art?," Christmas tells the FADER. "Imagine waking up one day and realizing your life is completely different from where it was only one year ago." When we travelled to Boston to hang with Christmas, he was knocking around local shows with his dad in the crowd: he's since moved to L.A. and toured around the country, and the newfound fun inspires the record. "Are You Around" is the first look, even shinier than his early work, with singer Polyester the Saint (wow) rounding out the West Coast edge. We're psyched dude's still having so much fun.
