Brooklyn artist KAWS, who requires no introduction to streetwear heads and art critics alike, is venturing back into fashion with a capsule collection in conjunction with Lebanese designer, Mira Mikati. The special series was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, and marks a return to fashion for KAWS since shuttering his own brand, Original Fake, in May 2013. Mikati, who has collaborated with artists like Darcell, and Pharrell in the past, is no stranger to collaboration and these new designs are expected to drop in Spring 2016.
The vibrant collection features original KAWS designs atop silk varsity jackets and are set to release via Mira Mikati's new signature line. Little details are known about exactly when and where the collection will release, but according to Mira's instagram, it could be a Colette exclusive. Let us pray we're blessed with more of it soon.
