Love Songs Don’t Come Sweeter Than Fabiana Palladino’s “Young Thing”

Let the London-based singer woo you with her DIY pop.

London-based singer-songwriter Fabiana Palladino is bringing a slice of the Italian sunshine suggested by her name to the drizzly capital today with her new single "Young Thing," which she's self-releasing this Friday October 9. "'Young Thing' is about young love and a kind of end to naievety," Palladino explained over email to The FADER. "The song is set in a bit of a turbulent middle ground between between being young and carefree, and finding a sense of responsibility. It means a lot to me." Even as she grapples with the darker side of love and growing up, she sets it in the context of a gently optimistic, DIY guitar-pop tune with an aww-inspiring hook: young thing, I'd like to grow old with you.
