N-A-R-C is the brand new project of Brooklyn-based singer/producer Pepi Ginsberg. Taken from her forthcoming EP, New Age Real Change, lead single "Venus, TX" starts off with delicate musings on a relationship, before the technicolor pop beat kicks in. "The song is about a love that graduates to that next level, where you don't ever want it to stop," Ginsberg told The FADER. To bring that idea to life on film, Ginsberg turned to Studio Junbi directors Kyunghee Jwa and Rodan Tekle who came up with a concept based on "mukbang," a Korean internet phenomenon that involves webcam stars eating food in front of an online audience.

"Sharing is central in Korean culture, especially when it comes to food and family," Jwa and Tekle told The FADER. "Mukbang is a fascinating combination of extreme virtual life meets deeply rooted traditional customs. It's especially interesting for Kyunghee who's Korean herself and wishes to share more contemporary stories from her culture. [The concept] lends itself well to N-A-R-C's story about dealing with loneliness and a never-ending desire for connection and love." INSCAPE will release N-A-R-C's debut EP, New Age Real Change, on February 26th 2016.
