Bibi Bourelly Returns With “Ego”

Bibi Bourelly's latest track, "Ego," is a raspy blues number, mostly just the singer and her guitar. You've got me fucked up, she sings. You want me to be this picture perfect girl/ In a little picture perfect world/ But I cuss when I talk/ And I lean when I walk. Later she adds, you won't bring me down.

The singer provided additional information about the tune on Twitter. "I wrote ego when I was 19 years old," she noted. "Just got to L.A. to sing and no one knew I would get anywhere yet."

She's gotten places since then: Bourelly helped write a couple of Rihanna tracks, including "Bitch Better Have My Money" and "Higher." Revisit her song "Riot."
