Mila J Is More Than “Ready 2 Go”

Mila J's forthcoming mixtape may be titled Waiting Game, but if this latest release, "Ready 2 Go," is any indication, she's about ready to call it. Over a dark cloud production, she runs down her credentials: They know that I'm on it/ but that's nothing new you've just been clueless, son and Mixtape coulda been an album.

"This track is really about how I’ve been patiently waiting and I’m ready," Mila told The FADER. "Ready for change. Ready for new things. Ready for my album to drop."

Indeed, her time is about to come. Mila J's mixtape Waiting Game is set to be released next week; her debut album is expected to arrive in early 2016 on Motown Records.
