TWINKIDS Premiere Quiet Love Song “ACBTY”

Emerging L.A. pop duo TWINKIDS have shared a resonant new love song called "ACBTY." Written in the depths of a cold Chicago winter and recorded in a closet, it takes its cues from icy nu-R&B but is made slightly skew by interferences. "We wanted a sense of instability in the instrumentation so we used stretched orchestral samples and noise from old recordings—that's the backbone of the production," the group explained in an email to The FADER. "It's a quiet love song about needing somebody for the sake of validation."
