Listen To Dreamers Spite-Powered “Shooting Shadows”

The Brooklyn indie rockers give fans a taste of their forthcoming debut album.

Brooklyn-based indie rockers Dreamers are gearing up to release their debut album, and today they have given fans their second taste of what's to come.

The album's lead single "Shooting Shadows," which premieres today on The FADER, is an angular, polished rock anthem that harkens back to the mid-aughts (think: The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes) and is powered by spite. Or as Dreamer's Nick Wold explains, "Shooting Shadows" is "an angsty scream about control, love, hate, and anger, and about how all these conflicting feelings can feed off of each other. There's often conflict in love, and how we shoot pain and spit fire at each other is a tragic yet powerful and central element of the love story. Attraction traps us in conflict."
