It's been just over half a year since Keith Cozart, bka Chief Keef, announced that he'd signed a deal with Greek billionaire Alki David's company FilmOn Music. Now it appears that the newly minted relationship has come under strain; in a recent statement to VladTV, David discloses that Chief Keef's contract has been suspended because "his management went off and did a tour without our approval." David goes on to express his displeasure with Keef's management but then reiterates that he still believes in the rapper's career. "I don't blame Keith – I blame his shady management," David said. "Keith is a fucking rap superstar."
