Katy B Teams Up With Four Tet And Floating Points For “Calm Down”

The singer returns in a big way.

December 11, 2015

Katy B recruited an impressive pair of artists to work with her on her latest track: Four Tet and Floating Points, both of whom push boundaries of dance music. Katy doesn't stray too far from her comfort zone though; "Calm Down" is full of hollow bass, a pulsing beat that arranges itself into a crooked shuffle, and a self-affirming hook.

"Calm Down" is the first taste of Honey, a new project that finds Katy working with a wide range of producers and artists. Her last album, Little Red, featured two excellent collaborations: 'Play" with Sampha, and more famously, "Aaliyah" with Jessie Ware."
