Skepta and Plastician’s 2006 Rinse FM Set Is Grime At Its Rawest

Last night, pioneering grime DJ Plastician appeared on London station Rinse FM with a special one-off: a 2006 set featuring Skepta, played in full. The set was originally broadcast 10 years ago today (January 6, 2006), the same day the pair recorded their collaboration "Intensive Snare," and when Rinse FM was still operating as an illegal pirate station. As well as a bunch of shouted-out phone numbers that probably don't connect any more, it features dubs that, according to Plastician, are "still unreleased 10 years later."
