New York Rapper Ahsh Eff Brings Back The Golden Age With “Storefront”

It’s about “getting it how you live under any circumstance.”

January 07, 2016

Ahsh Eff might be new on scene, but she sounds straight out of the New York rap golden era on her latest release, "Storefront." A hard-knocking production by Mess Kid and Stelios Philli—who has helped folks like A$AP Ferg and DonMonique capture a similar gritty, outer borough vibe—it's all amped up boom-bap and hustle. Robbery, I could get it back faster/ Pitching wealth to the youth, I'm a pastor, she spits. Because "Storefront," Ahsh told The FADER, "is about getting it how you live under any circumstance."

"Storefront" is the first in a series of singles Ahsh Eff plans to release in the near future; safe to say we're looking forward to hearing what else she's got in the safe.
