Mick Jenkins' latest track pushes further into the live funk textures he explored on 2015 releases like "Your Love." "On The Map"—a cover of TheSenseiBlue—came together with help from BADBADNOTGOOD, a Toronto group whose interest in live band hip hop has led to work with Ghostface Killah, Earl Sweatshirt, and Little Simz. While "On The Map" is delivered casually, it's a vow to track down a romantic interest regardless of her location: She lives in New Orleans, it ain't nothing but a flight and you know it.
