If the name alone didn't get the message across, Los Angeles streetwear brand Fuck The Population are not for the sensitive type. Better known by their acronym FTP the nihilist brand brings the street back to streetwear. In an interview with the FADER, brand founder Zac expressed his unpleasant view on the current status of streetwear, "I’m trying to bring back core streetwear, not the 'swag' part of streetwear". With his new collection, 'No Father Figure', the anonymous designer does just that. AK-47s, AR-15s equipped with hundred round drums, and extendo-clipped pistols serve as anchors for the collection. Alongside long-sleeve tees adorned with graphics of nuns pointing guns at themselves, the ski-masks, baseball caps, and hoodies make up a collection that is not for the faint of heart. 'No Father Figure' goes on sale on the FTP webshop tomorrow, January 23, at 12 PM PST.
