With the release of his new album right around the corner, Kanye West is making WAVES (again) in more industries than one. With the coinciding release of Yeezy Season 3 on February 11—smack dab in the middle of NYFW—Ye's timing for the second straight season is disrupting the schedules of other designers, buyers, and attendees. Designers Marissa Webb (formerly of J. Crew) and Rihanna favorite Adam Selman have had to reschedule their show times in accordance with Ye's sure-fire blockbuster. A similar stunt was pulled last NYFW when Yeezy did the same thing; but this year Yeezy's sudden announcement didn't leave the shafted designers with as many bad vibes. Marissa Webb sent out a pun-filled email blast that read; "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are 'swishing' the time of the show to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11. Sorry for making 'waves'".
