Early this morning, Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian took a selfie together.
"Swingers 🐸☕️," read Amber Rose's caption.
"Tea anyone?" read Kim Kardashian's.
It's fair to assume that Kim and Amber haven't been buddies on the DL, and that this is a postscript to last month's Twitter war of words between Amber and Kanye West, who Amber used to date.
To backtrack—Kanye insulted Amber on January 29, calling her rude names like "stripper," which is kind of ironic when you consider that Amber campaigns for feminist issues, as well as organising events like SlutWalk, which reclaims a word usually used to put women down and starts a discourse around hate speech .
Couple of days after, that Amber hit back with "Awww @kanyewest are u mad I'm not around to play in ur asshole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch 👆"
Kanye claimed this to be false.
Since then, there have been no additional butt updates. Kim's been fuelling the WAVES hype machine, tagging 🌊 on her Insta and starting Twitter polls to remind us that So Help Me God was a pretty good title after all. Kanye announced that WAVES would be debuted alongside a stream of the Yeezy Season 3 fashion show in movie theaters around the world on February 11.
I really hope that Kim and Amber are now friends! And that the tea was hot and nutritious. Even so, the whole thing kind of whiffs of WAVES promo. On January 29, in one of his less-RTed missives, Kanye said, "Me and my wife got the kind of love that can turn exes into best friends."
Is this Kanye trying to backpedal for his comments by inviting Amber into the Kardashian West fold? Can we expect MUVA's annotations to show up in the updated WAVES tracklist? Will she bless 'Ye's seventh album, a la Nicki on "Dark Fantasy"? I hope so, so help me god.
