Kanye West and Big Boy are pals: consult the second version handwritten tracklist for the MC’s upcoming album and you’ll find Big Boy’s signature on it. Kanye called into L.A.’s Real 92.3 this morning to talk to the radio DJ about the new record, his recent social media brawl with Wiz Khalifa, and the size of his pool. Check out highlights from the brief conversation below.

The album may undergo another name change: “We don’t have a name yet.”

He’s still into the idea of gospel: After his Twitter altercation with Wiz Khalifa, Kanye tweeted, “This album is actually a gospel album.” He reiterated this theme when talking to Big Boy, but with a new element: “This is a gospel album with a lot of cursing on it.”

He’s glad he talked it out with Wiz: “We chopped it up, squashed it. For people who felt a way about the kids comment, I didn’t mean it in a harmful way. I just saw my wife’s initial and I reacted, cause that’s my family. People be thinkin’… [Kim] is open season. That’s the mother of my kid! And I’m ‘Ye. I don’t want to act like I’m the toughest… but I want to act like a family man… It was great to have closure, it was great to just talk and build.”

The famous Kim and Amber photo is genuine: “That is a real picture. They were at Kris’ house.”

He might still try to put a Tupac verse to add onto his album: “I hadn’t thought about that, but I wonder if there is a Pac verse that we could find.”

Kanye has a lot of swimming options: When asked if Drake’s pool was bigger than his, Kanye replied “I have three pools.”
