Living Creates A Deep Blue Dream on “Cerulean”

Close your eyes and you might see colors.

February 10, 2016

Norwegian trio Living ignite a psychedelic groove in their new single, "Cerulean." The band, which is made up of Brazilian Bergen-based producer Lucas de Almeida, bassist Nora Tårnesvik, and drummer Sturla Kverneng, showcase diverse sounds on the sprawling track. The powerful wind instrumentation rides along upbeat electronic sounds to carry the brightness of the song. If you close your eyes while listening, you can practically feel yourself wafting through deep blue matter, or moving your body freely in the waves of the song.

As Living explained in email to The FADER, "Cerulean is the most optimistic song I've written; to me it's about that feeling of finally being able to look up when you're at the bottom. It's also the first song recorded with Nora and Sturla and they took it to the next level, adding a new dimension to the music."
