Sure, we might be living in the universe that didn't get Alejandro Jodorowsky's Dune, but we might be living in the one that gets Dean Blunt's “...black action hero slash UK stoner buddy movie." In a revealing interview with i-D, the artist behind Hype Williams and Babyfather revealed that he is currently working on the film, which will be shot between London and Atlanta. It's probably not Black Panther. Right?

Dean Blunt's future plans include teaching music lessons and Transcendental Meditation to the youth of Hackney, London (but not David Lynch's stream, though - he calls the director's consciousness-based learning a “rip-off.”) He also talks about his experiences in the art world, like his show at London's Cubitt Gallery. “The more I do it, the more I realise that by participating in the gallery system, I'm just contributing to the same ol dominant '1st world problem' white middle class discourse I've stayed away from.”
