Remembering the Williamsburg DIY venue.

Death By Audio closed its doors in 2014. But Matthew Conboy, who helped found the Williamsburg venue, filmed a lot of the shows that took place there, and that footage has been pieced together in a new documentary titled Goodnight Brooklyn—The Story of Death By Audio. The film debuts March 14 at SXSW.

Ty Segall, TV on the Radio's Kyp Malone, and Future Islands' Samuel T. Herring all appear in the movie. "We didn't belong in New York City," Herring declares in the trailer. "But we immediately felt like, 'these people are like us!'"
