According to the New York Daily News, AraabMuzik was shot in Manhattan on Thursday night (February 25). Shots were fired at the producer while he was driving out of a parking garage on West 125th street with his friend James Malloy. AraabMuzik was hit twice, and another bullet grazed his head. Malloy was also hit. The shooters apparently fled the scene on foot, but police recovered shell casings.

AraabMuzik underwent surgery for his wounds at Harlem Hospital. He is now in stable condition, as is Malloy. This is the second time the producer has been injured in a shooting.
