MyMusicRx® and YOU WHO present a family-friendly concert experience in Austin to raise money for “music medicine” for sick kids.

March 04, 2016

Got kids? Like music? Come and have fun in Austin this March. MyMusicRx®, the charity that provides "music medicine" to seriously ill children and teens, is hosting the fourth annual Rock Show For Kids in collaboration with YOU WHO (aka The Decemberists' Chris Funk) on Thursday March 17, during this year's edition of The FADER FORT Presented by Converse. The family-friendly concert experience will feature performances by Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Cody Chesnutt, Pure Bathing Culture, Onry Ozzborn, Tacocat, and more to be announced, plus there'll be a pre-show art zone and giant owl mascots.

Last year this incredible organization raised $10,000 for music programs for kids facing cancer and other serious illnesses, and we're hoping to follow that up in a big way this year. Advance tickets are $20 ($25 on day of show) and kids who are 10 and under will be admitted for free (note that they'll still require a $0 ticket). All proceeds benefit this important, FADER-approved cause.
