Magic Potion Are Feeling Alright On “Milk"

Listen to the blissful new track from the Swedish band’s debut album, Pink Gum.

Swedish quartet Magic Potion are set to follow up last spring's debut EP Melt with their debut full-length Pink Gum on May 27 via PNKSLM (US) and Beech Coma (UK). Today the Swedes are sharing "Milk," the blissful lead single off Pink Gum.

"Milk" praises the little things that make us happy: I woke up feeling alright/ because there's milk in the refrigerator. Not only is it a positively delightful song for cruising straight into springtime, it's a gem to keep on deck for when life's not so sunny (Some nights are quite tough/ Some nights are not quite so tough). It's important to remind yourself of tiny miracles like starting your morning with milk in your fridge, or finding a missing sock after giving up on the search, or being woken up in the middle of the night by a kiss on the cheek.

"'Milk' is about life’s yummy stuff," the band told The FADER over email. "Waking up and having milk in the refrigerator. Moonlight baby-making. Good vibes."

Listen to "Milk" below, and preorder Pink Gum on vinyl and digital from PNKSLM, and in cassette form from Beech Coma.
