K.Flay Explores The Middle Ground Between Highs And Lows On “FML”

She loves her life.

March 25, 2016

Often times, we tend to focus on either the highs or the lows in our lives as separate things, but K.Flay, touches on how the two work together in her new song "FML." As she touches on the difficulty of finding the balance of her extremes, Flay spins the cliché term by not just focusing on feeling doomed, but on her blessings instead.

Over email, she told The FADER, "There's often a very fine line between the things that make us happy & those that cause us some form of misery. The song's a bit cheeky but, it's about that duality—about reveling in recklessness while simultaneously regretting it. Basically, Saturday mornings."
