"I think with each record I've grown a bit more as a songwriter," Parquet Courts' Andrew Savage recently told The FADER. "With Human Performance I became more comfortable being vulnerable... It was an uncomfortable record to write. Some of those songs are still uncomfortable to sing."

"Now I have these songs that are uncomfortable," Savage continued. "Now I’ve got to sing them because they're on the record, they're out there. That's a new challenge of being vulnerable in public."

Today Parquet Courts shared several clips of the band performing three songs from its new record. Watch Savage and co. embrace the possibility of discomfort below; footage comes courtesy of the U.K. company 4Eyes.
