Hamilton, represent.

Some Torontonians have been quick to anoint Hamilton, a city tucked into a crook of Lake Ontario, as "the new Brooklyn" because of its lower rent prices and burgeoning arts scene. But beauty has blossomed outside of big Canadian cities for, like, ever, and so Hamilton's scuzzy garage rockers Pet Sun part of a long, musical tradition. Today, the band makes its FADER debut with a new video for "Web of Man," from their self-titled debut LP, which dropped last month on Toronto label, The Hand Recordings.

"'Web of Man' is one of the oldest Pet Sun songs to make it onto the album. We refer to it as our most classic throwback garage song, paying homage to '60s rock like The Kinks and The Rolling Stones," the band share in an e-mail. "It expresses the tangled web of manipulation of a romantic pursuit with a very light-hearted and upbeat attitude. All relationships are fucked up anyway, might as well accept it!" Fair.
