Rich The Kid and Lil Yachty have shared a hallucinatory video for "Fresh Off The Boat," a cut off their perfectly titled joint mixtape Lil Boat And The Goat, which is expected to arrive this summer.
Directed by 20K Films, the concept here is simple: Rich and Yachty visit a luxe marina, packed with fancy vessels. But this very much not your average "I'm on a boat!" sort of hip-hop video. There are thick stacks of cash, but instead of pretty women and bottles of bubbly, they are surrounded by phantom birds, neon doodles, and a little flopping fish.
"We are the kings of the youth, the young generation looks up to us," said Rich The Kid, explaining the video to The FADER. "We're making music for them to turn up and enjoy."
