A video of a young Drake performing improv on stage at The Rivoli in Toronto has resurfaced via FACT. It's a perfect illustration of why many shows of this kind can be hard to watch — gay jokes, no chemistry in the performers, the lack of experience that, in any talent, can take years to overcome. Maybe if he'd kept at it, Drake could have been leading the Toronto chapter of the Upright Citizen's Brigade right now. We'll never know. But watch the video and you will get a glimpse at his early attempts at freestyling — over a country-western piano. The FADER has reached out for comment.
