Crowds are gathering at the Stonewall Inn in New York City this evening to show support for the victims of yesterday's horrific shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The massacre in Orlando is being called the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
City Limits is reporting live from the scene, where Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo are expected to speak. Those who have gathered are carrying signs that call for gun control legislation and a call-and-response chant of "What do we want? Gun control. When do we want it? Now," was led just moments ago.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the identities of 48 victims of the tragedy of been released by officials, and the news outlet has released biographies of 37 victims. You can read about them here. Learn more about helping the victim's of the shooting in Orlando here.
