Ghostface Killah has revealed in a new interview with HipHopDX that he will be replacing RZA as the director of the next Wu-Tang Clan group album.

"RZA put the ball in my hand. He said 'Yo, I want you to do it,'" Ghostface said, "and I been wanting to do it, and that’s a big test for me right there." He also described how he plans to lead on the record: "I’m going to do my part first and let them know what I did and then have them listen to that and follow my lead. It’s like how they do in sports with athletes. It’s like alright, just follow my lead... I could be wrong, but my ears are my judgment. My heart tells me what's right."

RZA has famously controlled each of the Wu-Tang Clan group albums since 1992's Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), but depending on how you feel about 2014's A Better Tomorrow, Ghostface's new managerial role may come as welcome news.
