Watch A Recap Of Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Blank Panther Comic With New Music From Prodigy

Ta-Nehisi Coates and Marvel Comics, along with illustrator Brian Steelefreeze, have found a large audience of both longtime comic fans and new readers alike with Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet. To promote the release of new issues, as well as offer commentary on the ongoing storyline, Coates and Marvel have been releasing trailers for the series, the last of which was scored by Run The Jewels.

In a new recap video for the second issue, premiered today on Complex, Coates explains the building tension in the kingdom of Wakanda, as a new track from Prodigy and Mark The Beast plays in the background. "Beast With It" dives into EDM territory, and Prodigy vocalizes the intense themes of the comic. The third issue of Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet is due out on June 29.
